ABOUT THE DIRECTORbr>

  The director, Julián Lara, he was born in Sevilla, southern of Spain, long time ago, well, in the year 1975, then, he already was an inconditional fan of the fantastics movies, gore, sci-fi…since he was in the craddle, then he moved to Alcalá de Guadaira, a near town in the city when he was only five tender years.

   His hobby for this kind of movies carried him in many times, in the beginning of the decade of the 80’s, to be passing a very bad momentt, because in his most tenderly childness he showed a non-usual interest for the cinema watching “Apocalipsis Caníbal”, “No profanar el sueño de los muertos”, “La noche de los walpurgis”, o “Night of the living dead”, wich led him unable to sleep in the nights, but at the same time he became thirsty for more blood…pardon, for more movies.

   Now that he is older (just a bit), sure that he will be eternally grateful to his parents for let him to watch this kind of movies, because when the others childs had fun watching on TV "The Knight Rider", he was inmunized to watch films like "Cannibal Holocaust", Paul Naschy filmography, and another ones like the mentioned.

   Passing the time, at 13 or 14 years old, going to the end of the 80´s, he will be discovering jewels of the cinema, the cult movies like "Bad Taste", "Evil Dead", "Evil Dead 2", "Dawn of the Dead" or "Day of the Dead", wich made nothing but increase his passion for this movies so misundestood and underrated sometimes.
