Attending a ‘table read’ in Los Angeles is a very interesting thing, especially if you know someone on the animation industry. That was my case.
I met Shawn during a ‘Back to the Future’ event, and then he invited me over to attend a table read of the series he was working on: ‘American Dad’. I was so thrilled and had fun.
Also, when I met Matt Groening at Comic-Con he invited me to attend a table read at FOX Studios, not once, but twice, one for ‘The Simpsons’ and one for ‘Futurama’. In one of those visits I had Matt signing for me a toy of his likeness.
Oh, I also met the creator of ‘Ren and Stimpy’, John Krickfalusi, at an event in Santa Monica. In L.A. all is possible.
